TICC Business Delegation to Israel
“Israel’s Drone / AI / Kibbutz High-Tech”
Israel, known as the "Startup Nation," boasts the highest density of startups in the world. Its balanced industrial development, excelling in diverse fields such as agriculture, water technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, artificial intelligence (AI), finance, automotive technology, software, academia, and the arts. Its robust innovation has not only made it a global technological powerhouse, but also attracted investment from multinational corporations. A comprehensive industrial ecosystem has been established, integrating technology, military, investment, startups, and education. Benjamin Bental, the University of Haifa economist, noted that despite significant economic setbacks over the past two years, Israel has demonstrated remarkable resilience, economic revenue exceeding $540 billion in 2024 and a 50% stock market growth over the past year.
This delegation will focus on Taiwan's hottest topics, Drone and AI, and will also visit Israel's unique Kibbutz collective farms. Many kibbutz collectives have fostered world-class technology companies, such as Netafim, a global leader in drip irrigation technology. This trip, fully supported by the representative offices of both countries, trade offices of both Taiwan and Israel, and Taiwan Trade & Innovation Center in Tel Aviv (TAITRA Israel), and trade unions and corporate partners. We are planning to visit the Israel Drone Organization, the Robotics Association, Startup National Central, several drone and AI technology companies, and kibbutz visits, ensuring a rich and exciting experience.
Since 1993, Israel has focused on startups and investment, building a highly innovative and profitable industrial ecosystem. For over three decades, Israel has consistently ranked first globally in venture capital investment per capita, startups, and unicorns. Bilateral trade between Taiwan and Israel has reached record highs, surpassing both Japan and South Korea. Taiwan is a key partner of Israel in Asia. Combined with Taiwan's exceptional industrial foundation, the Golden Age of Drone and AI presents boundless opportunities for collaboration between businesses in both countries. Welcome to join us on this exciting and meaningful journey to Israel!
