According to The Economist, Israel is ranked the third strongest economy in the world in 2025, with its technology sector being particularly outstanding. Mergers and acquisitions reached a record high of US$71 billion. It is amazing that Israel has achieved economic recovery and structural growth despite high inflation and war pressures!
This year, we invite you to join with us to visit Israel for attending two major international exhibitions held in Tel Aviv in mid-May. The highlight is ChipEx 2026 (Israel's annual international semiconductor and artificial intelligence industry event), held in Tel Aviv from May 12th to 13th, 2026. This event provides in-depth understanding of specific developments related to the design, development, implementation, and manufacturing processes of semiconductors and artificial intelligence in Israel. It is considered an indispensable opportunity for Israeli microelectronics companies, R&D centers, venture capitalists, and academia to update their technology and connect with businesses. Furthermore, the globally acclaimed Biomed Israel Conference & Exhibition 2026 will be held from May 12th to 14th, 2026 at the David InterContinental Hotel in Tel Aviv. This event focuses on networking, innovation, and collaboration, with in-depth discussions on topics such as biotechnology, medical devices, digital healthcare, and diagnostic technologies. Combining a professional conference and exhibition, this is the best platform for international professionals to find business opportunities and exchange ideas.
Since 1993, Israel has been committed to startups and investment, building a highly innovative and profitable industrial ecosystem. For over three decades, Israel has consistently ranked first globally in the number of venture capital firms, startups, and unicorn companies per capita. Israel's Technology Incubators (TIAs) are at the heart of this "startup nation's" ecosystem, primarily supported by the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA), focusing on areas such as medical technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cutting-edge technologies. This trip will include a visit to some of Israeli startup incubation centers.
Bilateral trade between Taiwan and Israel has repeatedly reached new highs. Combining Taiwan's high-quality industrial base with cooperation between companies from both countries creates boundless business opportunities. This trip is fully supported by the representative offices of Taiwan and Israel, the Economic and Trade Offices, TAITRA, as well as friendly industrial associations and business partners. It is expected to include exchanges and cooperation with Israel's high-tech and startup industries, offering a rich and exciting program!
